This is a big one, a full walkthrough of the new patch library from Rocky Mountain Sound called Complexity. Jason Schoepfer has come up with a library full of interesting textures and sounds created from his personal analog synthesizer collection.
Dark and disturbing, Complexity also ventures into polyrhythmic and mixed-meter rythmic elements with the inclusion of a full 808-sourced drumkit - including creative twists that add grungy ambient character to the percussion.
This walkthrough takes you on a veritable journey showing what these sounds have to offer and how to get the best out of them.
If you haven't already picked up a copy, head on over to Rocky Mountain Sounds and pick up your copy.
A little shout out, if you create a track using just solely patches from this library, post a link below. We may put a little playlist together so that you independant musicians get a little exposure.
If you would like me to review or provide and overview of a patch library you have created, head on over to adrianearnshaw.com and drop me a message so that we can talk. I also have access to Kontakt, so can do overviews for sample libraries using the Kontakt engine.
