Beautiful Void Audio - Acid Rain for Omnisphere 3 - Unify 2 Enhanced

Beautiful Void Audio has joined the Rocky Mountain Sounds family, bringing their distinctive sonic voice and wonderfully unconventional approach to the world of Omnisphere.

Their first release with Rocky Mountain Sounds is Acid Rain, now updated for Omnisphere 3 and including a PlugInGuru Unify 2 Edition.

Acid Rain began with something remarkably simple: recordings of rain. Individual raindrops, splashes, clusters and the subtle textures created by falling water became the raw material for an unexpectedly deep and expressive collection of sounds. No additional sound sources were added. Everything you hear comes from those original rain recordings, transformed into something entirely different.

The result is a collection that feels organic, atmospheric and sometimes wonderfully strange. Beautiful and haunting pads sit alongside menacing drones, intriguing textures, cinematic hits, quirky rhythmic elements and playable soundscapes. Some sounds are delicate and soothing, while others become dark, dramatic and genuinely unsettling.

With 107 patches and 94 SoundSources, Acid Rain offers a surprisingly broad palette for music production, sound design, film and television scoring, ambient music and electronic composition. It is equally comfortable creating a sense of calm, tension, mystery or outright terror.

There is something particularly interesting about working with a sound library like Acid Rain. You begin with something completely familiar, the sound of rain, but through the perspective of Beautiful Void Audio it becomes something much less predictable. Water becomes rhythm. Drops become melody. Noise becomes atmosphere. Familiar sounds take on an entirely new character.

Beautiful Void Audio Acid Rain is not simply a collection of sounds that resembles rain.

It is a collection of sounds made from rain.

And this is just the beginning of Beautiful Void Audio at Rocky Mountain Sounds.
