ODC 2800 by Cherry Audio - An electronic Odyssey!

In 1972, Alan R. Pearlman took the music world by storm with the first direct competitor to the Minimoog. His ARP imprint released the ARP Odyssey Model 2800 which became - for the time the most imitated synthesizer on the market. Made famous by Herbie Hancock, The Who, Jean Michel Jarre and later, Ultravox and Depeche Mode.

Cherry Audio has brought this legend back to life and added many new additional features including polyphony, aftertouch, additional VCO & LFO, as well as FX and arpeggiator. Also included our authentic recreations of the model 2800, 2810 and 2820 filters and interface GUIs that are faithful to the original unit. This one is a legend and is not to be missed.

Please join Adrian Earnshaw as he embarks on a sonic exploration into the history of the Odyssey.

A very special thank you to Cherry Audio for providing us with a copy of the plug-in for our review.
